Step 1: Complete the online registration form below (see bottom of this page). You will receive a confirming email from the team within a few days. You may also sign-up by notifying Assistant AD, Mr. Rick Potter at Central, that you want to play lacrosse this spring. If you prefer, you can download and print a hard copy of the registration form and mail or fax it to Rams Lacrosse. It's easiest to sign up online below. Step 2: Receive athletic clearance through CCHS: If you have played another sport at Central, you should be fine. You must have had a physical within two years so double check that. If you have not played a sport at Central, go to the athletic clearance page on the CCHS website and complete the required forms. If this is your first sport you'll need a sports physical, so allow time for that. Here is the link: http://www.centralcatholichigh.org/athletics/athletic-clearance/index.html. Athletic clearance is handled by the school.
Step 3:Pay your fee: Pay the required $375 participation fee. Lacrosse is not a sanctioned OSAA sport yet, nor is it funded by Central. The participation fee covers about 60% of the team's cost, the balance is covered by fundraising. Also, for insurance purposes, all players must be a member of US Lacrosse (cost is $35). If you were on the team last year, you'll need to renew by April 1. If you are new to the program, go to www.uslacrosse.org and join. If you prefer to pay your participation fee by credit card you may do so by providing your credit card number and expiration date to Jeff Wiles via phone at 503-708-9798.
